January - Tailor-made trips around the world!

Although our group holidays tend to reflect the UK school holiday periods, don’t forget that for those families who are not necessarily tied to these dates we offer the Tailor-made option. How about enjoying the delights of South Africa during their summer? Or making the most of Patagonia's limited tourist season? Tailor-made Adventures

February half-term break

Jordan and Egypt are the perfect destinations to enjoy in the limited time that half-term offers. It is also ahead of the peak tourist season so sites can be enjoyed in relative peace and before the heat of the summer hits these countries. And short-haul flights from the UK too!

March - Morocco

For younger families (2yrs +) why not try our Magical Morocco adventure? Specially designed for toddlers, you can enjoy the delights of Marrakech by horse-drawn calesh, take a gentle trek in the Atlas Mountains (with mule support) and discover the hidden corners of the old pirates’ lair of Essaouira on the coast. All at a relaxed pace.

April Easter holidays

Head to the beach – in Mexico! And throw in some jungle horseback riding, a visit to a working hacienda and Mayan ruins exploration. Or how about swapping Easter bunnies for orang-utans on our Borneo adventure spending time with these hairy beasts, snorkelling in turquoise waters amongst the sea turtles and camping in the jungle.

May half-term break

Towards the end of May there is the chance to catch some of the famous migration as wildebeest and zebra start moving north from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya. Closer to the UK why not pop over to Turkey and enjoy all the famed sights, such as Cappadocia, Ephesus and the Turquoise Coast in just 11 days.

June – China

For those not confined to school holidays now is the perfect time to visit China. Why not use our Land of the Dragon tour as a sample itinerary and get our Tailor-made specialists to create the perfect Chinese experience for your family.

July school holidays

Make the most of the lengthier holiday period and travel to Latin America. Take the teenagers on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, white-water raft the Urubamba River and mountain bike through the Sacred Valley. Or head to Costa Rica with its explosive volcanoes, canopy walkways, lush rainforest and glorious beaches.

August school holidays

Take your family to THE destination of the moment – Burma. Explore Bagan by pony cart and meet the local children visiting rural villages. As a complete contrast why not join one of our family overland expeditions through Africa travelling on a special overland vehicle camping amongst the incredible wildlife and landscapes. Then your children can really have something to tell when they go back to school next month.

September – Madagascar

Take a look at our Madagascar itinerary – September is a great time to check out those lemurs so get our tailor-made consultants to devise a trip to suit you and your dates.

October half-term break

It's peak trekking season in Nepal with post-monsoon clear mountain views – and no leeches on the trails! Take a gentle 2-day walk in the Annapurna foothills, ‘hop’ on an elephant for a tiger safari in Chitwan National Park and relax by the lake in laid-back Pokhara. Or travel from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City enjoying all of Vietnam’s main sights en route.

November – India

For families happy to travel outside traditional school holidays why not try a tailor-made trip to India. Our Tiger Trails & Taj Mahal trip covers rural Rajasthan, Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park and of course the magnificent Taj Mahal.

December Christmas holidays

How about giving the children a Christmas to remember? Cruise the streets of Havana in a classic American convertible, spend Xmas Day amongst the stunning landscapes of Vinales and enjoy New Year at an all-inclusive beachside resort. Or for something totally different get involved with the local community in Thailand plus spend time in the jungles of Khao Sok and on the tropical beaches of Koh Lanta and Ao Nang.
