I'm going on the Athens to Istanbul Tour in September and wondered whether I needed to take a sleeping bag, which I currently don't own,and am reluctant to lug around for rest of the time I am travelling, when it won't be needed.

Sleeping Bags?

Hi Kathryn,

I have just checked the trip dossier and it does state in the 'special luggage requirements' section that you will need to take a sleeping bag with you for the nights that you are on the overnight ferries.

You can get sleeping bags which fold down into quite small packages so it may be worth looking at one of these instead of the larger ones which would mean more for you to carry around.

Hope this helps
