Hiring Jackets etc in Kathmandu

Heya,

I'm booked on the Nov 6th Annapurna Sanctuary trip and was wondering if anyone had suggestions where to hire down jackets and the like from. My problem is that I arrive into Kathmandu at 6pm ish on the 1st day of the trip, and while I thought we had a spare day in Kathmandu at the start of the trip, it appears that has changed and we now leave for Pokhara the next morning.

Are shops open late in Nepal?

Hi Matt

Your tour leader should be able to advise on this and as the pre tour meeting is early evening on day 1 you should be able to obtain the information then. If not ask at the reception desk and they will be able to point you in the right direction.
