What hotels do you use on your trips to russia. Particularly interested in your Moscow and St Petersburg ones. Also from the itinerary of the Russian Highlights tour, it looks as if you have to bus it into St Petes. Is this so?

For the Russia Highlights (IWBSR) trip, the group spends 5 nights in basic hotels, 1 night in a guest house and 1 night on an overnight train. The type of hotels on this tour are approximately of a 3 star rating. These will be twin rooms (unless a single supplement is booked) and will have an en-suite bathroom which consists of the usual items; wash basin, shower and toilet.
On day 6 when the tour group travel to St Petersburg, they take a local train from Novgorod, which takes approximately 4 hours, so a bus into the city will not be necessary.
