Sri Lanka - Single traveller on family trip?

Hi there,

I would like to travel to Sri Lanka in November and I've seen that there are 2 tours on offer, one is a family tour.

Can you take part in a family tour as a single traveller? Is it likely that there are other single travellers?

I would prefer that tour because it's 2 days longer than the other tour. Or will it feel awkward travelling with only families?
