I'm thinking about doing the Inca Trail in March 2010. Is this a good time to go. Any advise welcome.
Thanks

Hi ChauhanM
Thank you for using the forums!
Trekking the Inca Trail in March is one of the wettest times to do it as this is during the rainy season, although the plus side of this is that there will be fewer other people there at the time (not like the busiest times of June to August).
The Inca Trail is worth a visit at all times of year so if you do decide to go in March just make sure you pack appropriately and bear in mind that it can be cooler at this time of year on the trail, especially at higher altitudes.
Please also note the Inca Trail is closed throughout February. The later in March you are able to go, the less wet it should be!
