Athens to Istanbul July 3

Hi, I'm booked on the Athens to Istanbul trip on July 3. Unfortunately I am flying out of London Gatwick at night and I don't arrive in Athens until 3.40am on July 4. Is anyone else booked on this lovely flight and if so perhaps it would be wise to share a cab from the airport to the hotel?
