Peru is a massively varied country! The statistics say that out of the 104 possible climate zones in the world, Peru has 84 of them! Beaches, sand dune deserts, the Amazon rain forest, and the snow covered Andes just to name a few! The history of the country stretches back thousands of years. Peru has the oldest city in the Americas, built a few hundred years before the pyramids of Egypt! The ruins of Machu Picchu are breathtaking. Lake Titicaca is the highest navigble lake in the world, and is stuning! Geting the chance to stay with the local families on one of the islands is a great way to experience the lake! Over half of Peru is located in the Amazon Rain Forest, and a trip out into the jungle is something you probably will never forget. Pictures can say so much more than I can. I hope you enjoy these ones of this amazing area!
All of the photos were taken from our tours here in Peru. Enjoy!

Great photos!
Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for posting so many great photos. I'm going on this tour in about 3 weeks time and looking at all these shots has made me even more excited (except for the ones of the spiders in the Amazon, I hate them!)
Dan
Your welcome Dan
Which trip are you going on? Hola Peru, or Lima to La Paz? Either one you'll have a great time I think. Don't worry about the spiders in the Amazon, they aren't that bad.
Have fun!
Jonathan
I'm going on Hola Peru - wanted to see the Nazca lines, Lake Titicaca and trek the Inca trail, and that trip seemed to have it all plus some bonus sights like Colca Canyon and the Ballestas Islands - I can't wait!
Yeah, it's the best trip we run in Peru in my opinion. Going to the Colca canyon is incredible, and its the one place in Peru where you can actually see a condor! The islands are fantastic, so much life out there. Im sure you'll have a great time! Your tour leader is fantastic, I trained her myself!
Have fun!
J
