So times are tough and for all those resident in the UK, sterling is not exactly showing great strength at the moment.  So where is the best place to get more for your hard earned money? India! The pound has actually strengthened over the past year against the rupee but whether you are exchanging pounds or any other currency, India is generally considered an economical destination with an average meal costing as little as a few pounds and souvenirs ripe for bartering over in the markets.
