Austria is a popular location for tying the knot

With more and more people choosing to combine their wedding with their honeymoon, Austria has been revealed as a popular location choice for the happy event.
"The most popular place where we take more guests than anywhere else is Austria," explained Ron Cropper, marketing director at Weddings & Honeymoons Abroad.
According to Mr Cropper, having a wedding as well as the honeymoon in Austria means that it is easier for friends and members of the family to attend the ceremony as flights can be found fairly cheaply.
In 2008, he noted that the average size of the wedding party was 18 people at a wedding abroad.
You and Your Wedding Magazine revealed in a 2008 survey that the average cost of a wedding stands at £20,273.
Honeymoons are the second biggest expense for couples tying the knot, with the average trip costing around £3,220.
