Gaziantep
This Turkish city is among the ten oldest continually inhabited cities in the world. A place of breathtaking beauty owing to its stunning historical lineage, Gaziantep takes its culture very seriously. The city is dotted with several age-old inns that seamlessly merge the past and the present in one perfect experience.
For the gastronomically inclined, the sinful dessert, Baklava, is said to have originated here. Gaziantep’s pistachios are also well-known, as are its ‘Yemeni’ slippers and copper ware.
