But it’s pronounced with a ‘J’ which means Jogjakarta would then be shortened

Borobudur - Yogyakarta

Malang
There’s a long drive to Malang ahead but it’s got a great market, and we stay in a
really lovely little guesthouse. Are we forgiven yet?Visit the famous Prambanan complex, which encompasses 224
ruined Hindu temples Stop by Solo and it's interesting
markets, and perhaps visit the Mangkunegaran Palace Drive on to the Dutch colonial town of Malang, set in lush countryside Stay in a guesthouse just outside the centre of Malang (B)
Mount Bromo - Kalibaru
Take a jeep ride across a sea of sand and
climb 246 steps at sunrise to the rim of a live volcano. Mount Bromo might look
cool, but she smells horrible. Seriously, bring a scarf to cover your nose.
Sleep in bungalows in the Kalibaru hills surrounded by coffee and cocoa plantations. Day 6 Continue to Mount Bromo (Gunung Bromo) Set off in a jeep to the rim of this live volcano
Arrive at the crater rim
in time for sunrise Day 7Take jeeps to a stunning viewpoint for the
sunrise and look across to Mount Bromo, Mount Batok and the peak of Mount Semeru Cross the 'sea of sand' and climb 246 steps to the
cone of Mount Bromo Drive to the hills of

South Bali

Ubud
Lush jungles, rice fields, temples and
incredible local artists – Ubud is one of the most gorgeous places in Bali.

Mount Batur - Kintamani
Get up early for a dolphin cruise
(optional) before we head into the hills, stopping for Mount Batur
along the way.Perhaps make the most of waking up
early for an optional dolphin cruise Leave the coast and ascend the scenic slopes of Mount (Gunung) Batur Stop at several
viewpoints to take in views of the crater and its lake Stay overnight in the Kintamani area - a
highland town at an altitude of 1500 metres (B)
Padang Bai
Take a sunrise walk up Mount Batur
(optional). Then it’s off to Padang Bai, a sleepy little fishing village known
for excellent seafood.Perhaps set off on a sunrise walk up Mount Batur Head for the
lovely fishing village of Padang Bai and visit the temple at Besakih en route (B)
Senggigi
The trek up Mount Rinjani volcano is
optional, but you’d be crazy to miss out. You need to be pretty
fit, but we’ll take you up to the rim and you can spend the night camping under
the stars. Perhaps embark on an early start for a trek up the slopes of
Rinjani Spend a full day walking and arrive at the rim
of this volcanic mountain, and spend the night camping under
canvas or under the starsHike through
mountain forest that echoes to the call of monkeys, and emerge on the moonscape slopes of the volcanic cone Reach the rim at sunrise and enjoy the views from
above the clouds and looking down into the

Gili Islands
As a reward for your big day of trekking
we’ll take you cruising around the Gili Islands. Swim, sunbake, walk or partake in some of the world’s best snorkelling and diving. Travel to the Gili Islands - home to the best snorkelling in Lombok Spend three days relaxing and exploring on these tranquil islands (3B)
South Bali
Zip back to south Bali on a fast boat,
rather than the slow ferry. This means more time to do a bit of last minute
